A Christian woman arrested under Pakistan’s blasphemy law along with her sister and three other Christians has vowed to continue preaching the gospel to Muslims. “I am working for the Lord, and I’m prepared to pay the price for this service,” said Saba Boota, a 27-year-old Christian, after a court granted bail to her and her four team members. They were arrested after complaints by an Islamist political party (TLP). After their arrest and interrogation, the officers agreed with that they had said nothing disrespectful to Islam, but they registered a blasphemy case due to pressure exerted by the TLP. Boota said the group intends to continue preaching the gospel despite their arrest and threats by Islamist groups.
Please pray…
Praise the Lord for the faithfulness and boldness of Boota and the others in her evangelism team.
Pray that Boota and her team members will be wise in where and how they preach, and that the Lord will bless the seeds they sow.
Pray that the Lord will bring seekers and people with open hearts to the places where Boota’s team goes to preach.
