Pakistan Christian Mother Abducted and Kidnapped Girl Who Escaped Abducted Again

A Muslim in Pakistan who kidnapped and forcibly converted a Christian girl who later escaped has abducted her again. Muskan Salman (15) had escaped from Ardalan Ali on Dec. 15 after being kidnapped in March and forcibly converted to Islam and married to Ali, who is around 26 years old. After escaping, Muksan’s family moved to Karachi. She was kidnapped a second time at gunpoint while her parents were away at a wedding. Her parents have heard nothing from her, and the police have refused to register her father’s complaint. In other case of kidnapping, a Muslim man, Muhammad Sadiq, has twice abducted a Christian mother of three, raped her, fraudulently converted her to Islam, and fabricated an Islamic marriage. The woman, whose name is being withheld, was first abducted on Jan. 11 and held captive for eight days before she was released. Then on Feb. 14, she was kidnapped again by Sadiq and taken to a place 100km away where she was repeatedly tortured and raped for three days. She managed to escape and return to her family. Her husband filed a complaint with the police but Sadiq has not been arrested. He is now demanding that “his wife” be returned to him and threatening her husband to withdraw the charges against him.

Update:  The 12-year-old girl mentioned in the Feb.7 article, Saba Shafique, who was kidnapped and raped by her 35-year-old Muslim neighbor, has been freed and her abductor arrested and charged with kidnapping and rape.

• Pray that the Lord will heal the mother who was twice abducted and raped of the physical and emotional trauma she has experienced.

• Pray that the Lord will protect her and her family from Sadiq and that the police will arrest him and try him for kidnapping and sexual assault.

• Pray that the Lord will help Muskan to escape and find her way back to her family.

• Pray that Muskan will be strengthened, comforted, and healed of the trauma she has experienced.

• Pray that international pressure will cause the Pakistani government to arrest and prosecute those who kidnap, rape, and forcibly convert and marry Christian girls and women.

• Praise the Lord for the recovery of Saba Shafique and arrest of her kidnapper. Pray for emotional and physical healing for Saba and severe punishment for her kidnapper.
