Iran Christians Arrested, Interrogated

In February 2026, officials with the Iranian regime arrested a group of Christians. Those detained include some who had previously been arrested, served long sentences and even been tortured in prison for their faith in Christ. They are still being held and interrogated. Because of the internet blockage within Iran, local pastors are having trouble gaining information about their legal cases or updates on their condition. The newly arrested Christians join around 50 other Iranian Christians already serving long sentences for Christian activities. Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, where more than a dozen Christian prisoners are believed to be held, has been reportedly struck by bombs, and the condition of the prisoners and their treatment is unclear.

Pray that the Lord will comfort, strengthen and encourage those imprisoned in Iran for their faith.
Pray that the Lord will heal any who are injured and help them receive the food and medicine they need.
Pray that the Christians will have opportunities to share their faith and hope in Jesus with other prisoners, and that many will put their faith in Jesus.
