Ashok and his wife, Nila, have spent 25 years reaching out to the small and isolated community of Himachal Pradesh, India, which is overwhelmingly Hindu. Pravin, who was among the first Christians in this area, leads a rural church there. This church faces the daily challenge of reaching villages that are ruled by chiefs associated with Hindu nationalist groups, which oppose any kind of Christian activity in the village. Through personal evangelism and Bible study, however, they are seeing hearts change. Manu, another front-line worker there, organizes a prayer network to pray for Himachal Pradesh and said that prayer is breaking bondages and opening more villages to the gospel.

Please pray…

  • Pray for front-line workers in Himachal Pradesh like Ashok, Nila, Pravin and Manu to be well-equipped and encouraged in their gospel ministries.

  • Pray that the Lord will break the spiritual bondages the people are under from years of idol worship and ancestral spirits.

  • Pray for the safety of these Christians as they share the Gospel and minister to the believers.
