On February 9, two Christian evangelists were attacked by Muslim extremists while preaching in an open-air market in central Ethiopia. The men suffered severe head injuries in the attack and were immediately transported to a local hospital. While Ethiopia is a majority-Christian nation, Christians face violence and even death threats in Muslim-majority areas.

Please pray…

  • Pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will grant strength and healing to the injured evangelists.

  • Pray that the Lord will soften the hearts of the persecutors and that they will come to accept the gospel they so violently oppose.

  • Pray that Christians will have a loving and bold witness for Christ to the Muslims around them.
