Cuba Pastor and Family Suffering

Cuban pastor Luis Guillermo Borjas requests urgent prayer for the release of his son from prison on fabricated charges. In June 2025, the pastor’s disabled son, Kevin, was conscripted into the army, an act that the family believes was retribution for their ongoing Christian ministry. Kevin was court-martialed when he could not complete his service and is now being held in a military prison in deplorable conditions without adequate food. Kevin’s mother, Roxana, had to be hospitalized at the time of the court-martial and has continued to suffer health issues. Additionally, the family’s electricity has been cut off, limiting their communication, and economic conditions on the island have made transportation nearly impossible. “We are almost cut off,” Luis reported to another front-line worker.

Pray that that Lord will strengthen and sustain Pastor Borjas, Roxana and Kevin at this difficult time.
Pray that Kevin will be released from prison and that the Lord will heal Roxana.
Pray that the Lord will provide their material needs, including electricity and transportation.
